Our mobile pop-up shop is a creative, engaging, temporary retail space that sells Born to Be merchandise.

For this channel, we wanted to do something fun and intriguing. A pop-up shop fits perfectly with our brand and helps to enhance our consumers overall shopping experience. Our pop up shop is mobile, so we can set up and visit new places frequently. We want to be able to take our merchandise to high traffic areas to generate interest in our company, in addition to being surrounded by a variety of upbeat and unique environments.

A pop-up shop also works well with our generation target market-- millennials. Millennials are considered to have an adventurous lifestyle, always on the lookout for something they have not seen before. Suzanne Palentchar, the brand director in charge of a skincare pop-up put on by St. Ives describes their SoHo location as “a place where the Millennial shopper is out and about and seeking new trends, and wanting to try new things, and open to new experiences” (Johnson, 2017).

Pop up shops offer great support and diversity to existing e-commerce businesses (Khan, 2018). We plan to offer an easy online ordering system in our pop up shop. The pop up shop will be connected with our online platform by incorporating a “Pop Up Shop” tab located on our website. Here, we will list all our dates/locations of our mobile shop so our consumers will be able to track and plan on meeting us. In addition, we offer a self checkout system through an iPad located in our pop up, if a customer wishes to purchase merchandise from this channel. When checking out, the customer will scan their merchandise and the system will access the details on that specific piece- the size, color, price, etc. After the checkout process is complete, all the data from the pop up purchase will be included on “Previous Purchases” from  the customers personal account on our website.
