MISSION STATEMENT 

Born to Be strives to take inclusivity in the fashion industry one step further by providing aesthetically pleasing, yet affordable gender neutral products meant to empower members of the LGBTQ community and challenge social norms. 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Foot traffic

It is safe to say that the more people that walk through the door, the better. Measuring our foot traffic can show us if our design layout and displays are working to draw people into and around our store. We can also see if flow is disrupted or if there are any areas that attract our customers more than others. 

user engagement 

Tracking visits and signups is important, but we focus more on how long a user spends on our website than just how many people simply came to our website. It provides a more realistic figure on which we can base our success.

Sales revenue 

Month-over-month sales results show whether people are interested in buying our products, if our marketing efforts paying off, how we are competing with other retailers, and much more.

Customer feedback

At the end of the day, no business can have long-term success without happy customers. We track interactions in our products and mobile platforms to see if people are using them in the way we imagined and seek out feedback and reviews to see how we can make them better.

Born to Be is open to anyone and everyone. No one should feel corned by the gendered clothing of the fashion industry. We want everyone that walks out our door to feel comfortable and free in what they are wearing.

I believe Born to Be is exactly what the LGBTQ community has been longing for. Our gender-neutral merchandise allows consumers to decide HOW they wish to wear a garment. They hold the power and freedom to express themselves uniquely.
